Shipping & Payments

Delivery — No Hidden Fees. Taxes & Duties Included.

Every bike is shipped with all import duties, VAT, and customs clearance fees already included in the price. You will never receive a bill after your bike is delivered. The price you see is the price you pay — no surprise charges at the door.

Lead times

Each bike is built to order in Taichung, Taiwan. Lead times vary depending on production schedules and are confirmed with you individually before any payment is taken. We will keep you informed at every stage — from factory confirmation to departure, customs clearance, and final delivery.

Estimated indicative lead time: 8–14 weeks from order confirmation to your door. This is a guide only — your confirmed lead time will be communicated in writing before you commit.

Delivery area

We currently ship to: Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and France. If you are in another European country, contact us — we may be able to accommodate your order.

Payment

We do not take online card payments at this stage. Once your build is confirmed and production is ready to begin, we will invoice you directly. Payment is accepted by bank transfer (SEPA or international wire).

Payment terms: 30% deposit to confirm your order and begin production · 70% balance due before shipment. Both amounts will be stated clearly in your proforma invoice before you commit to anything.

Terms & Warranty

1. General terms

These terms apply to all orders placed with YourBadge.Bike ("we", "us"). By submitting a quote request or placing an order, you agree to these terms. We are registered in Taiwan.

2. Orders & custom builds

All bikes are built to order. Your order is confirmed only after you have received and accepted a written proforma invoice, and your 30% deposit has cleared. Until then, no production commitment exists on either side. Because bikes are custom-built to your specification, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

3. Pricing & taxes

All prices include all applicable VAT and import duties for the destination country — taxes and duties are included, there are no hidden fees. Prices are fixed at the time of your proforma invoice and are not subject to change after you have paid your deposit.

4. Colour & decal accuracy

Frame colours are represented as accurately as possible on this website, but screen calibrations vary. Actual finish may differ slightly from on-screen previews. Colour is applied by our manufacturing partner using Pantone or RAL references — we do not guarantee an exact match to any third-party reference not specified in your order.

5. Intellectual property & badge names

By submitting a badge name or logo for application to the frame, you confirm that you hold the right to use that name or mark. We accept no liability for trademark infringement arising from customer-supplied badge names. We reserve the right to refuse any name that appears to infringe a registered trademark or brand name.

6. Statutory consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the EU, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer protection law, including Directive 2019/771 on contracts for the sale of goods.

7. Warranty

Frame warranty: 2 years from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.

Components: Components carry the warranty provided by their respective manufacturers (e.g. SRAM, SR Suntour, Tektro, Maxxis). We will assist you in submitting warranty claims to the relevant manufacturer where applicable.

What is not covered: Normal wear and tear · damage caused by accident, misuse, or modification · damage caused by failure to follow assembly or maintenance instructions · cosmetic damage that does not affect function.

To make a warranty claim, contact hello@yourbadge.bike with your order reference and a description and photographs of the defect.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold under the laws of your country of residence.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how YourBadge.Bike collects and processes your personal data when you visit yourbadge.bike.

1. Who we are

Data controller: YourBadge.Bike, Taichung, Taiwan. Contact: hello@yourbadge.bike. As we sell to European consumers, we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

Email address — when you submit a quote request or sign up for launch notifications.
Build configuration — frame colour, badge name, rider height — submitted alongside your quote request.
Usage data — if you consent to analytics cookies: pages visited, clicks, session duration (via Google Ads / Google Analytics).

3. Legal basis

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for marketing emails and advertising/analytics cookies. You give this consent by ticking the checkbox on the form or by accepting cookies.
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for processing a quote request you have explicitly submitted.

4. Who we share data with

Formspree (quote request forwarding, USA) — your quote request is received by Formspree and forwarded to our business email address, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). Both Formspree and Google process this data under their respective Data Processing Agreements.
Google LLC (advertising measurement + email hosting, USA) — used for Google Ads conversion tracking (only if you consent to cookies) and as the host of our business inbox. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Retention

Email marketing contacts are retained until you unsubscribe. Quote request data is retained for up to 2 years for business correspondence purposes. Analytics data follows Google's standard retention settings (max 14 months).

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data · rectify inaccurate data · erase your data · restrict or object to processing · data portability · withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
To exercise any right, email hello@yourbadge.bike. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

7. Cookies

Strictly necessary: your cookie consent preference (localStorage) — no expiry, no server transfer.
Marketing / analytics (consent required): Google Ads conversion tracking (_gcl_*, _gads) — up to 90 days. These are only set after you click "Accept all cookies".

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page.
